This is the same vase I posted a few days ago, but after getting some silver polish and taking off all the tarnish I thought it deserved to be posted as it was meant to be seen. I am amazed at the detail that was revieled after taking probably 50yrs of tarnish off. The birds are in awesome detail in my opinion and the silver is so classical of the times back then with the art glass that was being produced. Just think this vase is a fantastic color. I love it!

Thanks for the love Bellin68. It cleaned up better than I could have ever expected. It was nearly black in the other post. Take care.

they are awesome jay -- i believe this is my favorite of the postings on the glassware -- i wonder who the maker was -- such detail -- just a suggestion -- can you turn off your flash on your particular camera -- i know on mine i have to when i photograph the vaseline -- have a great evening

We're you completely nervous to clean it? Afraid to rub something away? I am always a wreck...plus have ruined pieces. This really came out well.

Thank you for the comment and the love Epson233. Yes I agree with you that I need to turn the flash off when I try to capture these images. Problem is I do not have the correct lighting for no flash and when I attempted to take the pics I got a too dark impression of a vase and you couldnt see any details at all. A problem I will most definetly have to work on in the future! Thanks for the suggestion

Are you kidding AmberRose, I was shaking like a little choir boy taking his first communion! Lol. I must have read every silver polish bottle in 5 stores before chosing one that I thought would be ok. But I loved the one I chose and would recommend it to anyone. I went with Parker & Bailey Silver Polish. It was garanteed not to scratch the silver or the glass and it came out beautifully I think. Thank you for the love and comments.:)
