The August 1957 Issue of "True Men Stories" magazine - Vol. 1, No. 6
A bi-monthly publication from Feature Publications,, Inc., Canton, Ohio. Copyright 1957 by Feature Publications. -- Billed as "The Magazine of Action", this is one of several publications of the 1950's aimed at men as an adventure based content magazine with articles relating to danger and crime. Some of the stories in this issue have such titles as "Flying Rodents Ripped My Flesh" (cover picture), "Pile the Fried Corpses High", and "Fetid Fangs Tore at my Throat". An article is titled "New American Menace: Teen-Agers in Black Leather Jackets" It also, of course, has a photo feature centerfold bikini girl whose interest was as a perfume bottle collector (I wonder if she is a current CW collector??) -- Most of the advertisements are aimed at men, such as the Charles Atlas be a muscle-man ad, judo lessons, motor vehicle repair manuals, fishing lures, pistols, etc.; although there is one advertisement for ladies dresses (5 dresses for $2.75) - Paperback / 82 pages
