Brass Lunkenheimer Whistle valve. I am wondering if anyone has any idea about age, and use train, tug boat, 1" over 200 handle mark looks like M80A any ideas ?

    ^NO...it IS--- part---of a whistle,probably from a factory.

    This is mostly brass except where it seems to have been repaired. Definitely a pressure valve but pretty small. I tend to agree with gargoyle as to the use. Lunch and or end of shift. Regardless it is worth it's weight in brass.
