We bought the contents of an abandoned storage unit earlier this year which was full of many, many goodies, including this Japanese painting. I'm not even sure where to begin in researching this piece, or if it is even worth researching. It has age spots but otherwise it is in good condition. Is anyone familiar with Japanese artwork? I'm interested in knowing what the writing says. Thanks :)

Thought I'd just update with the accurate information I've learnt about this piece. Firstly, it is Chinese. The title is 'Spring'. The colophon says 'painted in Spring 1990 in Dali'. The seal reads 'Fang'. :)
