It is flat, but the entire head is square, the picture does not do the size justice.
Is the inside of the "jaws" rounded, possible bullet crimp
I was wrong, the grips are a hard leather.
bullet mold, pour melted lead in the latch hole in the top, after cooling, unlatch and there's your bullet, blunder will love this piece.
ok guys here is another two bit opinion -- i think this is either something to do with the manf of homemade ammunition or used to make lead weights for fishing - known as lead sinkers
