Both the Bell Telephone System and the Independent Telephone Companies issued Employee badges to be worn on the outside of there work clothes. The Bell system in most cases used the Bell Logo for there ID Badges, the independent's had a little more lead way with design. One of the more unusual was The Lincoln Telephone & Telegraph Co with using the likeness of the Strowger dial. The manufacturing arm of General Telephone & Electronic was Automatic Electric Co and they used a dial on there employee Badge.
