I like these because of their simplicity. Obviously nothing special or intricate. I am sure they are not super old. But in excellent condition. When I found them there was still salt and pepper inside! To me the S and P letters are perfectly appropriate for this design. Perhaps these are 70's or 80's I am not sure. I know they would have been perfect for the late 1990's when everyone started buying all stainless and chrome kitchen appliances.
