Introduction by Rudolf Hagelstange, Image notes by Dr. Helmut Domke, Compilation and Captions by Dr. Harald Busch. - It is a full-sixe photographic picture book with caption descriptions in German, English, and French. Some of the pictures are in color however the majority are black & white. Shown in the third picture above is The Ellingen Gate in the Franconian town of Weissenburg and in color is Rothenburg on the Tauber, the heart of Franconia - Roder Arch & Markus Tower. The fourth picture above shows the wooded hills of Thuringia and in color is The Wartburg near Eisenbach, forever linked with the names of St. Elizabeth and Martin Luther. / Hardbound with cloth-cover boards, gold title / 244 pages of photographs -- Germany is the homeland of my mother.
