This is a 1970 Poster from 1970 of an Exposition of several black artist set at the Metropolitan Museum of Fine Art. This was the beginning of a new social research program brought about from the Book "Rhino Horn"
(D Stephen Pepper was a famous Art Historian who started this social movement for artists from a book he published in 1969; "Rhino Horn".)
RHINO HORN NEW SCHOOL FOR SOCIAL RESEARCH 66 WEST 12 ST., N.Y.C.
Afro-American artists: New York and Boston:
exhibition The Museum of the National Center of Afro-American Artists, the Museum of Fine Arts and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, 19 May-23 June, 1970

IT IS FRAMED IN GLASS ON BOTH SIDES.
ON THE FRONT SIDE IS THE ORIGINAL SKETCH/ WATER OF??? d STEPHEN PEPPER?~ i DO NOT KNOW WHO THE PAINTER IS BUT i HAVE ATTACHED A PRETTY GOOD PICTURE OF HIS SIGNATURE. And his name appears on the Poster: "P.Dean"
The Poster "Rhino Horn" on the obverse is original (not a print)
The measurements are: roughly Twenty Three inches X Twenty Nine Inches. The only copy I can find is at the Smithsonian.
