Here is a Kralik Iris millefiori shade w/ blue threading. After seeing Warren's post many months ago I was hoping to run across one of these. Luckily I found one for sale in a lot with a bunch of studio glass :). It has a wonderful golden type iridescent look when its not lit (unable to correctly capture) as well as a wonderful mirror like surface. When lit is when it really shines though.
I assume they are pretty rare as I could only find 2 others online. 1 is Warrens which is listed on here, the other was up for auction in 2005.

Interestingly, both those shapes of the shades you have posted are associated with Ruckl, as well as the Iris line, which is transitioning from Kralik to Ruckl. It came as quite a shock to me that Ruckl used not only aventurine but murrines in its glass, for we were all sure those were Kralik markers.
Thanks for the info Al and Merry Christmas to you too Sean.
Thanks for the loves everyone.
Gosh! you have some amazing glass!...:-)
Thanks Inky
your very welcome ks85 and happy newyear to you as well ks85 :)
beautiful piece -- we keep learning more thanks to our informed members and all the gracious time spent researching and sharing so we may reap the benefits and know the makers of these marvelous works
Thanks epson233. I have learned a lot here too :).
Fantastic, these are two great pieces. kralik used this kind of threading, mirror like finish, murrines and shape...but it might be ruckl, we just need to find more related pieces before i switch my thinking.
Thanks Jericho I love them as well.
These are quite a find! Hope to come across one myself. I need one...just hope the mount dia is right! I'd guess they are worth a couple hundred each...am I in the ball park?
Thanks Braverheart, and sorry for the late reply.
Hard to say on price really. It depends how and where you buy them. I can say I wouldn't let either of mine go for $200ea :). Honestly I can't think of a $200 shade I'd want to replace them with.
The widest part of the fitters are approximately 3-1/8" wide. Hopefully that helps and good luck in your search.
Seem pretty rare..1st I've seen one.
