Happy Holiday's to Everyone on Collector's Weekly!
112 years ago this print graced the pages in Harper's Weekly on December 8, 1900.
Titled: His Christmas Dinner
Artist: Maxfield Parrish
This is one of M.P. earlier works that was done well before the "Girls on Rocks" series which is where he gained most of his fame and fortune as an an artist.
In the 4th pic is M.P. signature and it is colour enhanced to show in detail the humor that is barely visible in the print.
Thanks to all for sharing many fantastic collectibles this past year. I have certainly enjoyed this site as a resource that offers a wealth of information.
Enjoy what you love and be blessed for what you have....
Cheers to 2013.
