This tribal instrument, carved from one piece of wood is hollowed out from underneath to give it resonance. This one is only 21 and 1/2 inches long, but they can be as long as your couch and take two men to carry. As you can see, they can be very ornate. If anyone has any information as to what the creature on the bottom is, please let us know.
