Another great find! These early US Marine Corps images are super hard to find! I have had a streak of luck, because I have found several in the past few weeks, and have 2 more on the way, which I will post as soon as they arrive.
I have such a large collection of uniforms, equipment, gear, hats, helmets, etc, etc, that I litterally have NO MORE room in the basement, with out it starting to look like a hoarding situation. I have found that collecting these early USMC images fills my "NEED" to collect, does not take up any room, doesn't cost very much money, they are RARE.... AND I still get to enjoy the "thrill of the hunt" Pop them in a photo album, and done!
Hope you all enjoy them. What I like best about these images, are that if you compare these images to OTHER Marine corps images....even modern ones from today.....the uniforms & weapons have changed, but the faces are still the same. Devil dogs through & through.
