I fell in love with the soft matte glaze on my piece of Gouda pottery. Ran across it at an estate sale in Colorado, a very long way from where it was made. The soft green glaze on the back is the same as what is inside. I would like to know more about my piece as I have only found one other "wall pocket" as I have researched my piece. The flowers are also different from the many flowered pieces.
I didn't get a very good picture of the back so will tell you what it says:
2911
LOMBO
Royal
Zuid-Holland
Then it gets harder to decipher HC the little house 5661 or 166.
GOUDA
Would appreciate any information, especially would like to know it's age and if the marks tell who painted it.
