Trying to:
a) Identify this chair
b) Re-upholster the center
With regard to identification, here's what I know: purchased via eBay approx 8 years ago; current upholstery is not original; had fabric webbing under original (when I purchased it) upholstery; without any fabric, there's a hole in the center
With regard to re-upholstering, I am trying to stay away from having to fully refinish the wood (a cheaters way out, I know) and need to be able to have a "finished edge" that extends a bit beyond the open hole. I am pretty lazy (I prefer "busy", but whatever) so I really don't want to miter around the opening/upholstery. I have looked into ribbons and a few different gimp fabrics. I am at a loss.
