This is the 3rd version of the previously Moore's Firearms Co. now, National Arms Co. .32 caliber teat-fire with the "hook extractor" mounted on the right side of the frame. The purpose of the hook extractor design was to make it easier to extract the spent cartridges one at a time.
Photo #4 is of the .32 caliber teat-fire cartridge
There were an estimated 7,000 of these manufactured.
This is serial number 282xx.
The next post will be of the cylinder and loading process.

Now I get my inquires answered. Nothing like what I expected. This is more ejector for the cases instead of an extractor. An extractor pulls things out in my book. So the early models had to have a separate pin to push out the spent cases. Surprised they sold as many as they did but it was a changing period & people will buy anything that goes bang in a tight. By the term "extractor", I could only visualize something inserted from the front to extract the cases. Guess on the early models, they had to wear a rod & mallet around their necks to reload. Very interesting concept & NOW I have learned something.
