In 1962 Lewis William Seidman ran for Michigan Auditor General in the middle of Governor John Swainson's term. His candidacy was unsuccessful, but this is a great piece of his history. He was a fairly important economic/financial fella with the State of Michigan. Among his many duties in his lifetime, he worked with Gov. Romney, and personally worked with and was a friend of President Ford - both being from Grand Rapids.
The photographed side reads: "For Auditor General - L. William Seidman - Vote Republican November 6"
The other side reads: "A Financial Man For A Financial Job - Vote For Bill Seidman - Auditor General"
