1893 "The Dolls Dressmakers Magazine"and one pattern included also Stories told by dolls :-)
Love the story about the doll being in a trunk and wondering why as she traveled across ocean being tossed about and finally arrived in America and her injuries . A Old pattern and many stories and ads for medical to corn . A story about the boy who was mean and hung his sister's doll ! Now that sounds like my son and what he did to his sister's Barbie dolls.
This was a monthly magazine 10 cents a copy .

spiritinthesky3 , I think as girls who had brothers the boys always tried to shoot the dolls to whatever boys do :-) they are still doing it today ,like to tease their sisters and vice versa girls might throw you favorite toy if your a boy or play with it , girls like trucks too .
