I've been collecting large Murano trees and seashells, and millefiore dishes/plates for about 5 years. I also buy and re-sell vintage Murano pieces from time to time. I found this piece at an antique mall and have never seen another like it. It's about 8" square, very heavy, has gold dust, controlled bubbles, ribbing, polished pontil and an attached bird. Can anyone tell me it's likely age and maker?

I concur with Dean on it likely being Seguso. The main reason is the tail feather shape. They often squared off fins, feathers etc. Often the glass houses have distinct charecteristics in aesthetics.
