This is a cabinet card memorial for James R. Hagerty. James died on Sept. 10, 1887 at the age of 50.
After a brief internet search, it appears these are fairly common. I don't have any from my family archives, but I thought this would be a nice addition to my collection!

I have one of these of my great-great grandmother. Born Feb. 9, 1824, Died April 17, 1890.
