Some of my red bakelite and lucite jewelry. The charm bracelet in the front I made with my stash of red buttons. Also made the drumstick w/button pin and the safety pin full of red bakelite buttons. Red is pretty expensive. I have a few very nice original bakelite bracelets and the dragon pin which I've shown before but mainly I don't find red in the price range I can afford. That's okay. I have some nice items and always on the lookout.

Oh my, I love the open bangle, the handmade bracelet, the necklace in the back with the red plaquette and of course the red and white necklace. Is the white color painted on it?
Love the idea to make bracelets from buttons.
Thank you for your nice comments - yes - that cuff bracelet is very nice. It wasn't that expensive - might be from the 50's or 60's? I've had it a long time but recently I found another one for $35.00 and sold it to a friend who asks me to search out red items.
The red plaquette is actually a bakelite book on old brass bracelet. And isn't that a nice necklace - 2 layers and then carved - I don't think it's painted because there are no scratch marks. I also have a black & white necklace similar to this. I'll post it soon.
I've made a few charm bracelets from buttons but it's best to solder the rings shut. Happy Searching!!!
Thank you mustangtony, mrmajestic and newtimes for love and comments.
