I would love to hear your thoughts on this piece of glass that I recently purchased. The pictures provided are from the seller since I don’t have it in hand yet.
I have seen this décor before but cannot recall if an ID was ever determined. Warren?
I have had some discussion with my glass buddies and this is what I know thanks to them:
• Josef Knizek (Pandora Glass) and Kralik can be ruled out
• there are examples in the Passau Museum labelled "Anonyme Produktion"
• the piece stands 8.5”
Any suggestion would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mac

Thanks for this. I thought I had seen something recently with a similar textured surface.
I just added another image showing 3 pieces, 4 including mine, with similar textured surfaces.
Mac, check out Schleersee in the Passau pictures. I have one, same glass, double handled. But it could also be a variant of Kralik crackle. I'll post a picture of mine.
mac is the texturing like mine?

stunning:)
Thanks Al. I read your other post. That is a big help!
Alisa - I don't have the piece yet. I will post pics when it arrives.
Examples at the MAK were in storage in the basement. One of the directors told me they believed it to be Kralik...doesn't mean it is... just another opinion.
Thank you kind sir. In other discussions I have had over the past two days, I have been presented with some convincing evidence that this may indeed be Kralik. The jury is still out. I will work on presenting what I have learned and I will post pics.
