(753 items)

This is my second posting of these small enameled discs. Most likely made for attachment to homefront patriotic items during WW2.

7th Air Force: Pacific theater. Responsible for the defense of Hawaii and participated in offensive operations as well.

12th Air Force. European theater. Participated in Operation Torch and N. Africa/ Mediterranean operations.

5th Air Force. Pacific theater.

Scott, My uncle was stationed in Hawaii during WW2 with the 251st Air defense Artillery which was then part of the 7th Army Air force. I have his 7th Air force shoulder patch in my collection along with his 251st unit crest "We Aim To Hit"

Looking at your 7th Air Force pins, I'm thinking I must have two 8th AF pins, as the star symbol is identical, as is the overall theme.
