All right you Coca-Cola collectors what the story on this wooden six pack bottle carrier. I looked it up in Petretti's 12th edition and they show a carrier
like this, but not with a cover? It's not in the fantasy items.

TGBWC Thanks for the information I didn't buy this bottle carrier, but it's on Ebay as being original 1941 bottle carrier. listed as a buy-in-now for $79.00.
Unfortunately, too many Coca-Cola items on eBay are listed as (original, rare, vintage, one-of-a-kind...) when in fact most are fake, fantasy, reproduction. Like anything purchased on the internet or at an antique shop, you need to research what you are buying and never rely on what you see, regardless if the seller has 100% feedback. Too many misinformed, misrepresented and just downright scam sellers on eBay.
I just informed the seller of his/her original 1941 bottle carrier.
Many bad items but also many great items that go cheap from unknowledgeable sellers in all areas!
Caveat emptor and do your own research BEFORE you buy.

TGBWC, I see where this Coca-Cola carrier has been removed from Ebay.
