Here's a very "Rare" Mickey watch. This piece is one of the first issue pieces. These style watches was produced from 1967-69 by Vantage(Hamilton) to be bought only at Disneyland. This one being a 1967 Model. The first run has the White Gloved Hands are there are only 500 of these ever produced. Then Red Hands from then on. Note photo#3 & 4 is a later model and 17 Jewel is added to the dial.Photo #4 is the glass backing cover. Thank you for looking and Hope you can see the little difference in the two and know the difference if you find one of the 499 others, that might still be out there.

Thanks Kerry for sharing that tidbit of information, I would of never known the rarity of the white handed micky until now. I will keep my eyes open from now on! Nice watch too!
Thank You JayHow for the visit and showing the love. These are rare enough that they are just mentioned in 4 different reference books with no picture, there is a photo of one in the Brown & Thomas book, but mis-info on the date and maker of the piece. And a little more tidbit is there were 3 variations of the Vantage. The 1st being this one, the 2nd had red hands and see-thru backing plate and the 3rd was an "Electric" 17 jewel movement, same dial, but the sweep second hand was a lighting bolt.
love the mickey:)
Thanks Sean and Good Morning to you. Hope the day brings you an adventure and treasures to brighten your evening
JayHow, I've editted this posting to add what I mentioned in comment #4 about the backing plate. Thanks for reminding me of that tidbit, would have not remembered if you hadn't commented.
