Just wondering how old this item is and if any value to it bought as collection but don't know much about it

It's worth $60, -to you. lol. Can you get your money back? Doesn't appear to have an opening for the resonator to function. Appears Afrikan by head figure on the keyboard & homemade keys scattered at random.

Kinda looks like a decorative piece for the tourist trade. I doubt that it is antique.

Oh, sorry trunkman but it is an old habit to give friends a nickname. In return, you can call me blunder, BB2, Bum'ble clot or what ever fits you fancy.

It is a fun piece with lots of character -- the turtle shell is pretty funky!

I didn't recognize the shell. That's probably worth something.
