I am counting this as a companion piece to the bowl I posted a few months ago due to similar coloring and techniques. Baby blue glass is swirled with a coppery colored aventurine. This is a huge vase, standing 12" tall, with three layers of glass - it weighs nearly five pounds! Large polished pontil with lots of base wear. It is unmarked. The jury is still out on the maker, but I am pretty sure that French is correct - Leveille, Legras, Sevres, or similar.
