I've said for a long time, that sometimes the books out there, might and have been wrong before. In every book I own, seen or browsed, You will find a reference to the 1966 "Unauthorized" Mickey watch. It is refered to as "Mickey with his tongue sticking out" and unknown maker with only Swiss Movt on the dial. I've always just let it go , because there are several out there. But I do have one that is marked on the dial as a "Windert" and it's still in it's original box. So we know at least one distributor of those pieces. I've had this one since the early 1970's, bought from a little shop in Oxnard, Calif while in the Marines. I welcome any and all comments to this posting either pro or con.
Thanks for looking and hope to hear your comments as to this piece.

Thank You Kevin, Dave and George for showing the love!!
@Dave, I got several more, all a little different, one has yellow checked shorts, look really odd. I also remember one with another name on it also, but can't seem to locate it.
@ George, I don't know how some people price their pieces either. You can go on several on-line sites and find several of the same model pieces for sale and basically in the same condition with the price from cheap to OMG. Then of coarse you find that person with a trashed out piece, with litttle or no hope, wanting the top money as if it were a MIB piece. I find an average and sorta stick to that for a price, unless it's one of those "Chicken Teeth" pieces and how bad someone wants it, mainly me. LOL
Thank you Gary for stopping by and showing the love
Sorry Eye4 for calling you George in comment#6, bad hair day I guess. Again, meant to use your title.
Thank you PhilDavidAlexanderMorris for showing the love, very appreciated!!
Thank you steller and petey for showing the love!!
I picked up a watch at yard sale and it has yellow face mickey with Swiss Movt on it. The back has this wording-base metal case, unbreakable mainspring, dust proof, stainless steel back. I paid a dollar and wondered if this was a vintage watch or knockoff-it is in almost "too" good of shape. Any info would be appreciated. At the waist are the three buttons and the tongue is sticking out. The outside trim is gold tone. Thanks
Trove, sounds like the 1966, post a photo of it and I'll see if I can give you some leads as to it's origin. For a dollar, you didn't get hurt any at all.
Thank you Phil for showing the love!!
Hi,
I just put a post through titled Vintage Mickey Mouse Watch? I showed several photos of the watch. I wasn't sure if there was another way to show photos or not as I just registered today. Let me know if you are able to view them and thank you for your interest and help.
Kerry,
Thank you so much for your info on the Mickey Mouse watch! Thrilled that it is vintage and has history attached to it! I really appreciate your willingness to help me identify the watch. One more question if I were to sell this watch what would an appropriate selling price range be? Apart from only what someone is willing to pay. Thanks so much!
Trove, average price would range around 40 to maybe 60 on a good day, seen them go higher, but couldn't say why. If your going to do a Buy-it-now, I'd try 49 or best offer, that's just me.
Just looked it up in the price guide, they say 100-150, I need to contact them and sell a boat load, again I've seen several of these sell on on-line auction services, average is around $40.
