I purchased this item in 1989 from an antique dealer in North Carolina. I have searched the web, asked dealers and collectors all over the world if anyone knew EXACTLY what this is and where it originated. I have not been successful. The tag on the item when I purchased it said, antique oil lamp. Can anyone help?
