This rose bowl is 4" tall by 5" at the widest point. It has a ground and polished pontil, 3 dimples in the sides, and a tri-pulled top that has a fire polished rim - it's quite a free form shape that I found in Australia through ebay. I have only seen 3 pieces in this pattern, 2 of which I had the opportunity to buy and one I let get away.

Hi Lane how did I miss this!!!!
I saw one other piece in OZ several years ago and I think anothe rfriend of mine in the US got it! ho Hum I will just have to wait a little longer before I have one! :)
regards Marty from OZ
Hi Marty - I bought this on ebay in 2011 and also saw a console bowl with a scalloped fire polished rim 2" tall by 10" in diameter - at 2" tall it didn't show off the pattern from the outside very well, just from the inside. I bid but was the underbidder - sure wish I had it now knowing how scarce they are!! regards to you as well - Lane
Hi Lane I think this is the same bowl that I thought another friend had bought .
Scarce as proverbial hen's teeth ( maybe the candy cane rotted all those hens teeth : )
Ooops! forgot to add that I am looking forward to seeing some more of your collection.
