found this yesterday and yet its an interesting piece of decor that ive found at a thrift store yesterday. im wondering if it is sterling silver or silverplated and what year and what country it is from . but its beautiful in its own way.

have a similar style in pewter -- with a dip dish you attach to the back -- great for oysters -- of course i use a glass liner so the juice does not ruin the pewter or poison us -- which ever may come first
