Large bronze Chinese seal is 2 x 2 x 4 inches and weighs 18 ounces. Carved dragon and seal script characters. The impression is on red wax. I have no idea of the correct orientation, what you see is a pure guess and any guidance is most welcome, and especially as to a translation. An estimate of the age would be a bonus. Thanks for any help, Jim

I only can recognize two characters on the seal. The owner surname is "Ma", a very common surname for Chinese. This character is on the top right of the red wax. On the left bottom is another character "seal". The character used is Han style, but the Chinese still using it for calligarphy. The seal seemed very new.
Hi Raymond, thanks very much for your time and knowledge, it make a very good start for me. And apparently I have the correct orientation. Best wishes, Jim
