I bought this kerosine caboose lantern. It still has the working assembly for a wick. There is a bracket on the back where it was mounted to the caboose to warn any trains appproaching from behind. This piece is very heavy. I haven't seen a caboose since the early 70s when I accidently threw a rock threw the side window of one while aiming at a freight car.
