    I don't know much about paintings. I had this from a previous house I lived in. The name on the painting is M. H. Lowell. Anything you guys may know about it? Is this rare?

      Actually the name on it is M. H. Lowell. It is 10x14".

      Hi Dempsey, Is it a print? How's the back of this look? I found this info: Milton H. Lowell, American, 1848-1927, "MH LOWELL" A primarily self-taught artist, Lowell preferred landscapes and worked mainly in the Adirondacks and Hudson River Valley.

      I added pictures. I wanted to open back up but it is like fort knox. Very secure. Im affraid to ruin it.

      It is a print . The name and texture of it are printed not painted .

      It is a very nice print however and it is older--I would totally find a place for that =)
