30mm diameter. 14k stamped on reverse. Has letter "V" with superimposed letter "S" on back also. 6mm thick. Looks like it could be a locket (appears to be 2 pieces) but can't see how it can open, and no hinge. Came with fobs on either side as shown. I added the chain later to wear as a pendant. Never seen one like it. No idea of age or maker.

On closer inspection of the marks I've noticed that the superimposed VS letters have a crown above. I can't trace these letters, but it does look like some kind of "fantasy" hallmark. I am also puzzled as to why the piece has been made so thick and in 2 pieces when it doesn't open like a locket. And why it was made with the 2 fob clasps? Any ideas?
