I bought these in Texas 1994 and now just got around to refinishing them. I think they were piano stool legs. I will look for top of table or a table that I can change. I think they are from the early 20th century. I used gold leaf paint, cost $3.99 for a small jar which was enough, I even touched up some gold picture frames in my house with the extra paint.
