I've just bought this as a fire extinguisher. I can't find anything else like it on the internet so I can't offer any further info but would appreciate any input. I've ticked the box that says I need help identifying this item if anyone can help, that'd be great.

Thanks Jonima. I don't know yet... am waiting for it to be delivered. Just trying to do what research I can in the interim. Will post details of any markings when it arrives in the next week. Cheers.

Hi. There is a silver label on the top just under where the handle attaches that has red arrows pointing left and "TURN TO OPERATE" written on it and a stamp (?) in the metal of the shaft that has the 'spout' attached that says MADE 1977. That's it. Not much to go on unfortunately.
