Just when I thought Xmas was over . . .
And, why do I always find something i simply must have when I am broke?
Coming from the UK:
Pic. 1: Identified trough the new Loetz Design Book, where with the same number it appears in at least 10 sizes.
Pic. 2: But it had already appeared on page 385 of Ricke II with an approximate manufacture date of 1900-1909.
Pic. 3: Approx Height:22cm.; 8.5". Approx Width:12cm.; 4.7/8". Approx Length: 17cm (includes spout and handle) 6.7/8". From the dealer's pictures, I was not able to ascertain whether it has a pontil mark. But it does exhibit a polished rim.
Pic. 4: Another view. I do have a picture of the same shape, same crackle glass, but with a square hollow handle!
By the way, this is what I call proof of manufacture, not the current epidemic of guesswork and say-so currently circulating through certain posts.

Before you told me about this one I had already been searching pitchers to see if I could find this shape. I did find one red overshot pitcher in an identical shape, but I don't think it was Loetz.
The New Lötz Book appears very comprehensive.
From the list in Pic. 1, showing the decors and number of each manufactured, which of these decors is your new vase ?
It has been described as crackle. It will take me at least 2 weeks to get it. Dave, there is a red one!
I have a Rubina overshot pitcher that was my Mom's and when Brian Severn came back from Passau he kindly put his images up and sent a link to my art glass group at the time. While drooling on all the images I found my pitcher in a case that was Loetz. Recently, Leah had one that looked just like mine. However she wondered about the attribution. I am wondering if the "new' Book might have a line drawing of mine? Does anyone have a copy and the time to poke through for me? I know it isn't in any of the books in my limited library.
If this isn't a terrible cheek and there is someone who wants to help, please let me know and I will shoot a picture of mine. Thank you.
