I found this 1923 Remington Portable at a local store for $60 it works the only thing wrong is the G key is bent but still works I think I over paid but I love it and couldn't pass it up.
I'm new to collecting typewriters : )
from the serial number NP30579 I think it was made January of 1923 and it was the 579th made in January of 1923.
