I am a 53 year old Guy and it is odd trying to learn about the types. Velcro is simple to figure out...I dont want to rip the clothing to find makers mark. Who can refer ONE book or reference to help educate me.
The dolls are about 11 inches tall with large bulging posteriors.. I have tried every name i could think of old maids, school marm.....The dresses are stuffed with cotton creating large butts. The base seems to be molded plastic with doll built around it.

I have spent hours trying to ID dolls. I got stuck with quite a few from a death....On these two dolls the numbers listed put them as being created circa 1965.
I have learned alot about dolls and teddy bears. I found out why i had crummy one in 60's-70's....I thought dolls were made from plastic. Freaked me out when one dolls hair/skull came off. Any help would be appreciated......
