These are Set of three handpainted Apotheycary jars Marked with letter M maybe an H and the # 3 stamped on the bottom. A set that was my grandfathers ( he was a Dr. in NY ). I have looked and looked to find history on these. Hoping someone can help. They measure 6 " with lid. Top without lid is 2 7/8 ". The lids are wood. These have been in the family as long as I can remember. Weight of each is 14.8 oz. Would love to know where they were made etc. Thanks in advance ~

I am uncertain.... Part of the problem.... The family I could ask are all gone now. I know they have been around at least 50 years that I am aware of. Have you seen anything like these before ?
Thanks for taking the time . My grandparents had many fine antiques, it was that wonderful generation
