THAT IS PROBABLY THE MOST INTRIGUING PICTURE EVER TAKEN AT THE PM (2006), MAYBE BECAUSE NO ONE ELSE HAS FOUND THESE PITCHERS. IF I RECALL, THEY WERE BEHIND THE DOOR TO THE EMPRESS' ROOM.
THE EXISTENCE OF II-3175 (BOTH CORNERS, PICS. 1, 2) IS BY NOW WELL-ESTABLISHED. BUT NOTICE THE TWO IN THE MIDDLE. I HAPPEN TO HAVE THE GLOBULAR ONE IN BLUE, NOT RED. 7"; 18 CM.; POLISHED PONTIL, BLUE FRIT ON BLUE GLASS (PICS. 3,4). BY THE WAY, NOTICE THE LACK OF IDENTIFYING LABELS.
MY QUESTION IS: ARE THEY ALSO LOETZ? IT SEEMS THERE IS MORE COMPLETE COVERAGE OF PITCHERS IN THE NEW LOETZ BOOK, SO I AM HOPING THEY WILL BE DOCUMENTED THERE. BUT WE DO KNOW LOETZ MADE TABLE SERVICES.
