This vase is about 10 inches high and is marked "Made in Belgium" on the base. I think it is Art Nouveau, but I don't know for sure. I love the colors though! Can anyone tell me who made it or how old it is? Is it safe to put flowers and water in it? Thank you!

This a particularly nice example of Belgian Pottery which in my humble opinion is much under valued .

Thanks, ozmarty! I agree, these pieces are undervalued. I scored mine for 15$. Yours is also beautiful! And thanks to everyone for the love!

I agree with you both! Art Nouveau era pottery is vastly undervalued relative to other artistic mediums from the period. Hold it. It's value will rise. And, yes. You should use it, but just don't let water stagnate in it for too long.

Thank you cogito! I just think its beautiful. I was asking about the water because some of the black on the inside appears to be coming off. I guess I'll take this off of unsolved mystery, since y'all agree it's art nouveau. Maybe someday I'll figure out the maker. Thanks again!
