How exciting! I had never heard of "Moon Mad", and went to look it up! It doesn't appear in Perfume Intelligence - the Encylopaedia of Perfumes! Don't have time to research it, as I am sorely pressed right now, but this one is very ususual. And it's sealed! Wowie.

Second one, "Tweed", is a classic. Believe it or not, eHow has a great piece on this fragrance.

I don't have time to look at your other items now. I can't wait to see them. I am going to "follow" you so I won't miss any more of your treasures! I have been very busy lately, and these perfumes of yours completely escaped my notice. You've got a great collection already! Best wishes for success with future acquisitions!!! Regards, miKKo

I'm loving this ! I'm only 30 & so everyone in my world thinks I am strange for loving what they call "stuff from dead people"
I don't care though because its the story that I unravel, the stories & memories from our past that are all too soon to be forgot, You just don't find reason behind much anymore not like before when things were crafted & Designed for a reason with a meaning.

I can't wait to share more of my "stuff" just so I can hear what everyone has to say. To bad my Apartment is only 400 Square Ft & I'm running out of room. It's difficult to keep it all "out of sight" (my husband hates my collection of "trash" )
It's so much more than that

Oh. Husband might eat his hat if you sell some rare bottles and make big bucks. If you find a really rare one that is highly esteemed - and you seem to be finding uncommon ones and choice ones, you can make a very nice profit -- if you chose to. One person who will buy rare bottles for his clients is Kenneth Leach of Gallery 47 in New York City. He's a collector, scholar, and broker. He's wonderful, and he is at the top of his field. He wouldn't be interested in common bottles, but rare ones might be just the ones he's looking for.

I love these beautiful old bottles and fragrances both for their instrinsic beauty and for what they reveal about our culture. Like you.

Several persons on this sight have the same problem -- spouses not caring for the things they collect. I encountered two this morning. Perhaps it's time for an etagere. Welcome aboard! : )

Well Thank You that is very pleasant to hear. Yes I have a superb "go to" and I will be returning for more sometime in the next week. Hope to also find the missing piece to the "Sinner & Saint" bottles. These bottles were being stored in Round Tins (3 of them) under a piece of 18th century furniture and behind a stack of 16th century paintings!! I was on the floor sitting in the only walk way or "path" in the place and it wasn't any more than 2 feet wide. I left quite a few bottles behind & will most likely be take a 2nd look. Thank you for your insight I will take it with me wherever I go.
