Hi, this belonged to my-sister-in-law and it is so different and unique I was wondering if anyone might know who the artist might be. The ceramic newspaper has things on it like the Kennedy Assination, Peace, Glory to God and it has roses stuck on it. It is an incredible piece but it does have damage. I am fascinated by it. If anyone has seen one or something like it please help.

you have someone in your family that loves this particular type of art and pottery -- just based on your first post and perhaps that artisan in your very family

Unfortuantaly she is no longer with us. She might have known who the artist was. I thought most majolica was European but this seems to have American news on it. It is also heavy.
