I got this from a local guy that had it hanging in his garage. He got it out of a wearhouse in Eureka, California. There used to be a Big Loaf Company there. There must've been different versions of this sign because there's one in the book "Signs of our Past" that's a little different from this one. The wrapper on the bread is different. In the book, it's checkered instead of white on the left end. If anyone knows about this sign or when it might have been made, I would like to know. The one in the book is from around 1950. Mine measures the same, 24"x44" and is heavy porcelain.
