Here is another DIY fix up project I did. This was a very nice, but old and broken child's rocking chair. The original splint had a hole in the middle, and the finish was a clear or brownish varnish/paint, very worn. To mach my daughter's room I repainted it with orange milk paint. Two coats of orange and clear coat on top. I followed a pattern for the splint, if you look closely you will see where the mistakes are. I love the way it came out. No one sits on it....except for her stuffed animals, they enjoy it.
