I didn't mean to start up confusion about loetz decors as I am not an expert in catalog numbers, shapes and designers for Loetz. The only thing I can contribute is the pictures. I think we get caught up in attributing pieces based on an expert or a book being published.... Remember when the Ricke book was called the Ricke Bible? Since the first publishing in the late 80's we have seen how incomplete it was...even the new Loetz book is incomplete. Passau is incomplete (at least with kralik marquetry)... My files are way incomplete and I am sloppy with details, but I do have an eye for technique. These pieces need to held to see the complexity.
Ausf: 140
Base glass is green semi-opache metalin. The next layer is a sheer base color, then controlled bubble pattern and lastly a crystal clear casing glass.
They all have pontils and a fire polished rim. I hope you enjoy, these are the only colors I have seen them in with a total of 9 separate pieces (I have) ever seen.
