German WWII stamps found in a stamp album. I know very little about stamps, but due to the fact they have a swastika or Hitler on the stamps, I suspect WWII era!

In reference to your next post, I’m sure the UK is glad the queen doesn't charge a royalty for using her image! (No comparison or disrespect intended to ERII, just an observation about how often her image is used)
A bit further off topic, I live in King County. When we changed our logo from a crown to an image of Martin Luther King, the county had to negotiate rights to his image from the King family. There is an urban legend that my county pays royalties to the King family, but actually not. If the image is used for commercial purposes, however, the family has copyrighted his image and has sued for royalties.

AR8Jason, do you know what Hitler did with these monies? Except for those things that he thought essential for maintaining himself in a manner he deemed suitable for the leader of the German state, he seemed to live rather simply - unlike Hermann Goring.
