This necktie was a pleasant surprise! I was shopping a church rummage sale today and I filled a bag for $5, I put all of the ties that they had in the bottom of my bag, I didn't bother to look at them. When I got home, I looked at this one--it looked 'old'--much to my surprise and delight it is. This tie is probably from the '50s. The F.N. Arbaugh Co. is an old Department Store in Lansing, MI (the original building is still standing). The F.N. Arbaugh Department Store incorporated in 1909 and finally closed as Arbaugh's in 1969. I was in a state of disbelief, this is a remarkable piece of Lansing's history! I cannot stand how much I LOVE this tie!!
